L'Aia Vecchia - Farm Holidays in Tuscany, Castellina Marittima

When the land was bought by the Marinari family in 1988 it was just an abbandoned hill with stones and brumbles so the first work started on renewing the ground by terracing and planting new vegetation, building stables, one house, which now is the holiday house, and then one other which is the owner's house.

As time went by the area got greener and repopulated to the right proportion, getting better year after year.
